margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpkHPiAn.jpg" alt="" width="521" height="638" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>老實(shí)說，香港的確如我所想，是一個(gè)非常開放多元的繁華都市，我主要參觀的香港中文大學(xué)風(fēng)景確實(shí)很好，各種特色書院、各棟名人贈(zèng)樓、各位享譽(yù)中外大師應(yīng)接不暇。<strong>但是驚嘆之余，在結(jié)束行程后，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我并沒有特別喜歡這個(gè)地方，我喜歡的仍然是&ldquo;約等于在大陸讀研&rdquo;。</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這次切身實(shí)地的游港后，我開始重新審視我自己起初的想法：<span style="color: #0086d1;">既然選擇了留學(xué)，為什么不去更遠(yuǎn)的地方看看？</span>既然看到了東方之珠香港，為什么不去試試看更廣闊的西方世界？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>我會(huì)去英國讀書嗎？</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>英國其實(shí)是最早下offer的。2023年10月，英國送來了4枚QS前100的offer。<span style="color: #0086d1;">但隨即呈現(xiàn)在我面前的是愛丁堡大學(xué)和曼徹斯特大學(xué)的明晃晃的拒信和香港學(xué)校的默拒。</span>就在我準(zhǔn)備接受入讀布里斯托的命運(yùn)時(shí)，轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)出現(xiàn)在了次年4月。記得當(dāng)時(shí)仍然在實(shí)習(xí)單位里實(shí)習(xí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php5392ui.jpg" alt="" width="536" height="402" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>當(dāng)時(shí)在酒店里剛剛起床，看到了倫敦國王學(xué)院的郵件更新，但當(dāng)時(shí)仍未放在心上，因?yàn)樵谶@之前，倫敦國王學(xué)院已經(jīng)更新了無數(shù)次郵件，但都沒有什么實(shí)質(zhì)性的進(jìn)展，因此，我甚至沒有第一時(shí)間點(diǎn)進(jìn)郵件查看詳情，沒有第一時(shí)間依照網(wǎng)站的指引查看更新，而是洗漱完了直接去上班。直到上班上到想摸魚的時(shí)候才想起來查看郵件。這一查，直接讓命運(yùn)的齒輪開始轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)了。老實(shí)說查看更新狀態(tài)，心里還是蠻緊張的。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>點(diǎn)進(jìn)PDF，看到了倫敦國王學(xué)院標(biāo)志性的bush house圖像封面，<span style="color: #0086d1;">漂亮的粗體Congratulations!像是甩了我?guī)讉€(gè)巴掌一樣</span>，腦袋一片空白，耳朵里聽不到任何人的聲音，我就這樣被錄取了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpDgpVN6.jpg" alt="" width="622" height="467" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">等我大腦反應(yīng)過來的時(shí)候，心里想起了海賊王里101種人物的笑聲</span>，我離開工位，假裝鎮(zhèn)靜地佯裝去洗手間，出了辦公室的門，觀察走廊上沒有任何人走動(dòng)，泛濫的興奮、神經(jīng)的激素再也抑制不住，但我仍然不敢放肆出生，于是我在走廊上躡手躡腳的跑了好幾個(gè)來回，又打開窗戶猛吸了好幾口戶外的空氣，激動(dòng)的心情稍有舒緩，這事兒才算淺淺告一段落。在接受了倫敦國王學(xué)院的offer之后，我便抓緊時(shí)間刷語言成績。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>由于倫敦國王學(xué)院的雅思要求略高，達(dá)到了總分7小分6.5的要求，每一個(gè)雅思人都知道寫作和口語能同時(shí)達(dá)到6.5需要多么高的水平。<strong>而了解到PTE考試相對(duì)簡(jiǎn)單后，我便決定轉(zhuǎn)考PTE。</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>認(rèn)真?zhèn)淇糚TE大概2-3周就去考試，PTE考試我個(gè)人認(rèn)為是非常適合應(yīng)試考試能力強(qiáng)的同學(xué)的，短期備考也能收效顯著，而且出分迅速，我個(gè)人是當(dāng)日考完試當(dāng)日出成績，<span style="color: #0086d1;">因此我推薦，如果出現(xiàn)語言&ldquo;卡關(guān)&rdquo;的問題，不如去嘗試換條賽道</span>，說不定會(huì)有意想不到的收獲。而在申請(qǐng)策略上我能給出的建議是大膽追求自己心意的學(xué)校，不要怕激進(jìn)，申請(qǐng)費(fèi)博取一個(gè)能上更高水平學(xué)校的機(jī)會(huì)也是可遇不可求，大家在申請(qǐng)季定校時(shí)不要顧慮太多，增強(qiáng)自己的配得感，向上沖就可以了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>國王商學(xué)院獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金？Get</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外，在收獲倫敦國王學(xué)院的offer之后，我又收到了國王商學(xué)院推送的鼓勵(lì)申請(qǐng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的郵件，抱著試試的心態(tài)，我注冊(cè)了相關(guān)信息。我申請(qǐng)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金名稱是future sustainability leaders scholarship，我申請(qǐng)這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金是因?yàn)槲冶究破陂g和老師做過兩個(gè)ESG方向的研究，畢業(yè)論文也是ESG方向相關(guān)內(nèi)容，因而對(duì)這方面的研究具備一定的理解。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但因?yàn)榭吹接泄P試和面試內(nèi)容，心生膽怯，因而遲遲沒有完成所有的申請(qǐng)步驟。直到獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金信息過期，我也沒有完成。但是，倫敦國王學(xué)院又給了我驚喜。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)出現(xiàn)在6月下旬，國王商學(xué)院突然給我發(fā)郵件說要我完成申請(qǐng)頁面所有的信息，我心里一顫，<span style="color: #0086d1;">因?yàn)槲以缇椭佬畔⑦^期了。但我還是點(diǎn)進(jìn)去申請(qǐng)門戶網(wǎng)站查看相關(guān)信息，發(fā)現(xiàn)我仍然可以完成申請(qǐng)。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這一次我鼓足勇氣，小紅書上搜索攻略，打磨口語部分內(nèi)容，在第二天就完成了申請(qǐng)。<strong>意外之事再次發(fā)生，十多天后我有收到了一封來自KCL的郵件&mdash;&mdash;我竟然中獎(jiǎng)了！</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpN5KJbn.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="400" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>足足有<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">5000英鎊</span></strong>，可以說是我人生中收到的最大一筆獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。在日后獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金獲得者social party活動(dòng)中，大概出席了五六十位獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金獲得者，能成為這五六十分之一，我也感到十分榮幸，也感謝KCL又給了我一次爭(zhēng)取拿到獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的機(jī)會(huì)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>因此，我鼓勵(lì)大家如果有收到學(xué)校邀請(qǐng)投遞獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金的郵件，請(qǐng)一定要把握住機(jī)會(huì)，這代表一種積極的信號(hào)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外還可以自己主動(dòng)收集信息去看學(xué)校相關(guān)的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金信息政策，積極申請(qǐng)，如果申請(qǐng)上，不僅有學(xué)費(fèi)的減免，減輕經(jīng)濟(jì)負(fù)擔(dān)，還能豐富簡(jiǎn)歷內(nèi)容，提升簡(jiǎn)歷的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>倫敦我來辣！</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>用合格學(xué)術(shù)成績和合格語言成績換無條件offer，辦理學(xué)生簽證，買上去往倫敦的機(jī)票，到現(xiàn)在在倫敦生活了幾個(gè)月了，仍然感覺這一切像是做夢(mèng)一樣不現(xiàn)實(shí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>很難講倫敦印象是什么，他至少可以追溯到小學(xué)英語課本封面的大本鐘、倫敦塔橋，也可以是貝克街221B里住著的夏洛克&middot;福爾摩斯（曾經(jīng)我極度癡迷&ldquo;卷福&rdquo;苯尼迪克特&middot;康伯巴奇主演的神探夏洛克），可以是享譽(yù)世界的皇后樂隊(duì)和披頭士樂隊(duì)。但當(dāng)我真正走出希斯羅機(jī)場(chǎng)的時(shí)候，我才清醒，我來到了真正的倫敦&mdash;以前電視報(bào)紙上看到的、聽到的都會(huì)是我接下來所能親身體驗(yàn)到的。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php5dYKED.jpg" alt="" width="539" height="718" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>生活體驗(yàn)絕對(duì)不會(huì)后悔</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>來倫敦絕對(duì)不會(huì)后悔的就是生活體驗(yàn)！整個(gè)倫敦簡(jiǎn)直就是現(xiàn)代和古典的交織，自然與人文藝術(shù)的交匯點(diǎn)。我所租住的是社會(huì)公寓2b2b房型（即兩個(gè)臥室兩個(gè)洗手間），<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">有一個(gè)室友，房間約有80平，人均月租大概在1.5萬人民幣左右。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>由于是倫敦一區(qū)較新的社區(qū)，公寓設(shè)施也十分現(xiàn)代化。樓下兩家中超，為往后的廚子生涯提供相當(dāng)大的便利。倫敦交通網(wǎng)絡(luò)發(fā)達(dá)，配合搭乘公交、地鐵和火車基本可以去往任何你想去的地方。哈哈哈相信你也發(fā)現(xiàn)了我有提到火車，沒錯(cuò)，倫敦火車站極多，甚至各有各的建筑特色，乘坐火車在倫敦市區(qū)內(nèi)通勤也是很常見的事情。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>之所以說倫敦是現(xiàn)代與古典的交織，是因?yàn)樗扔鞋F(xiàn)代化的倫敦金融城和各種現(xiàn)代建筑藝術(shù)如碎片大廈等，還保留了許多古典建筑，如大本鐘、倫敦塔橋、圣保羅大教堂等。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpZZRsI3.jpg" alt="" width="410" height="308" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">倫敦國王所有的洗手間里的干手機(jī)全部都是Dyson的</span>，大樓里面也設(shè)有很多休閑區(qū)供學(xué)生休閑討論，專設(shè)的餐廳區(qū)域有微波爐供學(xué)生加熱食物，學(xué)生吃完后甚至還有洗碗槽和洗潔精供學(xué)生清洗自帶的餐具，可謂是人性化十足。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外，最受國王的學(xué)生喜愛的莫恩圖書館還是周杰倫《夜的第七章》MV的取景地！很多學(xué)生都會(huì)去拍照打卡。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外，學(xué)校軟件設(shè)施也是高水平的存在。圖書館館藏資源十分豐富，查閱文獻(xiàn)十分方便快捷；還配有投屏電腦、小組討論室、自助打印機(jī)等。對(duì)于商學(xué)院的學(xué)生來說，擁有龐大數(shù)據(jù)庫也是十分必要的；倫敦國王學(xué)院的學(xué)生在個(gè)人電腦上擁有免費(fèi)訪問WRDS數(shù)據(jù)庫的權(quán)限，在特定的Trading Lab（交易實(shí)驗(yàn)室）里還可以使用彭博數(shù)據(jù)庫等最前沿的數(shù)據(jù)庫。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
