<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">L同學本科就讀于國內211語言類院校，均分92+，成績常年保持專業(yè)第一。和L同學深入溝通后，我們了解到她對G5名校金融經(jīng)濟類項目的偏好。不同于香港或者新加坡地區(qū)，英國頂尖名校在招生上有自己的衡量標準。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">基于此，我們在2月份確認合作后，就為她制定了詳細的背景提升方案，重點在于針對學術成績的維穩(wěn)、標化考試的安排、暑期實習的規(guī)劃等。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">在最初了解L同學的個人經(jīng)歷時，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)L同學作為商科學子，非常有預見性的開啟了實習積累，進行著咨詢公司的線上實習；但是<strong>她科研經(jīng)歷的匱乏引起了我們的注意，到大三上學期，L同學僅有一項大創(chuàng)項目在進行中。</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">考慮到英國院校對學術研究能力的側重，我們將L同學的時間做了拆分，<strong>讓她提前結束了線上實習，利用好大三下這個黃金時期補充科研經(jīng)歷。</strong>從3月到5月這段時間，除了完成大創(chuàng)項目，L同學還在導師指導下做了一個新的課題，圍繞數(shù)字金融對企業(yè)創(chuàng)新的影響展開研究。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">除了做科研之外，<strong>L同學要接受的另一個挑戰(zhàn)就是同時考GRE和GMAT，因為L同學選擇的項目中既有只接受GMAT的LSE和只接受GRE的劍橋項目。</strong>我們結合L同學的英語水平給她規(guī)劃了幾個語言考試的時間線，L同學不愧是學霸，每個考試都是一次出分，并且分數(shù)都非常有競爭力。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">而L同學為了追求自己的夢校，更是一刻不停息，她還充分利用暑期，在語言考試之余之余又增加一份行研實習經(jīng)歷。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">出色的績點、研究能力以及備考能力，讓我們進一步看到了L同學的潛力，雖然在院校背景上沒有那么有優(yōu)勢，但我們對L同學沖擊牛劍院校非常有信心。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">在申請方面，我們結合英國G5院校的開放時間以及審理周期給L同學做了詳細的申請策略，在8月正式投入申請材料的準備當中。包括推薦人人選的考慮、簡歷中學術經(jīng)歷中的亮點挖掘，以及針對不同院校的個性化文書創(chuàng)作。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">在準備個人陳述時，雖然各院校項目都叫金融/經(jīng)濟，但由于培養(yǎng)方案與課程設置有所不同，我們需要抓取各項目側重點進行差異化寫作。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">尤以<strong>劍橋大學的金融與經(jīng)濟項目文書為例，該項目是由Career gaols和Reasons for applying 2個獨立的問題構成，而每個問題只能用1000字符回答。</strong></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">我們<strong>引入專業(yè)mentor與L同學溝通，抓取與項目契合度最大的經(jīng)歷內容進行反復打磨</strong>；用精煉的語言將L同學的實習經(jīng)歷與未來就業(yè)規(guī)劃嫁接、并且在文書明確說明自身的能力優(yōu)勢，最大化展現(xiàn)L同學與項目的匹配度。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">經(jīng)過雙方的默契配合，L同學順利在11月份趕上劍橋的第一輪申請。之后我們與L同學經(jīng)歷了漫長的等待，期間陸續(xù)收到了LSE/IC/UCL等一眾金融項目的offer，終于在3月迎來了劍橋項目DP和正式錄?。?lt;/span></p>

<h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>錄取偏好揭秘</strong></span></h1>
<p> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">劍橋大學的金融與經(jīng)濟哲學碩士隸屬于經(jīng)濟學院，是個為期10-11個月的授課型碩士項目。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">從課程設置上來說，項目包含了9-10月份開設的預備課程（mathematics and statistics），以及10月份之后，分2個學期完成的6門必修+2門專業(yè)選修，并于7月底前完成1w字論文（Dissertation）提交，在第二學期學院會為每一位同學匹配supervisor進行一對一論文指導。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">金融與經(jīng)濟哲學碩士課程涵蓋了金融和經(jīng)濟學領域最新的研究成果，尤其注重金融熱點議題的的經(jīng)濟學解讀，包括制度背景研究，建模構建，模型解讀，數(shù)據(jù)分析等，<strong>適合有意向轉入金融、銀行、研究機構、咨詢等領域就業(yè)的申請者</strong>。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">整體來說，該項目不是一個主要為PhD做鋪墊的項目，絕大多數(shù)同學讀完后會選擇就業(yè)，對于未來有明確計劃攻讀博士學位的學生會更推薦考慮MPhil Economic Research。</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #262626;">值得注意的一點是，經(jīng)濟學院下共開設了4個MPhil項目（包括24fall新開項目MPhil Economics and Data Science），但每個申請季只允許提交一個經(jīng)濟學院的MPhil項目，因此在申請前必須充分考慮好自己到底要申請哪一個。</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">根據(jù)項目申請數(shù)據(jù)，不難看出近幾年MFE項目不管在申請人數(shù)還是錄取人數(shù)上都呈明顯上升趨勢，在劍橋一眾碩士項目中實屬招生人數(shù)相對較多的一個項目了。</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">另外明顯上漲的還有國際生和女性錄取者的比例。國際學生中Chinese錄取者更多還是以海本（英本/美本）、港本或中外合辦本科院校為主，陸本錄取的同學集中在一些target school。</p>
<p> </p>
<h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>導師建議</strong></span></h1>
<p> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1、英本同學需要至少達到high2:1成績，通常建議達到一等（尤其關注后2年的課程分數(shù)）；</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">美本同學需3.6+；</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">陸本建議90+（Top10%水準）。</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">2、雅思成績若小分未達標也不影響提交，可以作為condition中一項；</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">3、非英本同學在申請時必須攜帶GRE（不接受GMAT?。。。?，要求Q：90% Percentile，AW：50% Percentile。</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">4、申請者必須是是經(jīng)濟學學士學位（商學/管理學等學位背景均不符合）；</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">在修課上，要涉及中級微觀經(jīng)濟學、宏觀經(jīng)濟學、計量經(jīng)濟學課程；</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">數(shù)理方面，需修滿線性代數(shù)、概率與統(tǒng)計、高等數(shù)學與最優(yōu)化、微分方程等課程內容。</p>
