Submit a score on a language proficiency test taken within the past two years. If the TOEFL is the chosen test, the minimum required score depends on the form of the exam taken: Internet based — 79, or paper based — 550. A score of at least 6.5 is required on the IELTS. A score of 53 or higher is required for the Pearson Test of English.

GRE
Admission to our graduate program is based on the evaluation of transcripts, GRE scores, letters of recommendation, an academic writing sample, a personal statement, and an interview. We do not have automatic GRE cutoffs. We assess the entire application for academic ability and fit with our program.

To apply to the ADP, a student must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5 based on at least 30 hours earned at UNCG, must have completed at least 60 semester credits, and must be at least a junior.
