PS
A two to three page statement explaining why you wish to pursue a PhD degree in GWS and the general topic areas you intend to study. This statement may highlight your background and interest in interdisciplinary studies, your academic, work and volunteer experiences as related to your interests, and your professional goals. This Personal Statement will be uploaded on the Graduate School Online Application.
GPA
An undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 and a graduate grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale are required as minimums.
CV
Submit a full resume or vitae (CV), detailing all academic and work experience, on the Graduate School Online Application.
Fee
The Graduate School application and fee.
RL
Three letters of recommendation are required. These must be uploaded through the Graduate School Online Application website. A minimum of two of the three letters should be from professors who provide an assessment of academic achievements and scholarly potential. (Preferably all three letters should come from academic professionals.) The letters must be submitted by the letter writer (not by the applicant).
Transcript
One official transcript from all universities attended must be submitted to the Graduate School. See the Graduate School Online Application for instructions on uploading transcript copies.
