TOEFL
English Language Requirements for International Applicants*
*Excludes applicants whose undergraduate or graduate degrees are from NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and English-medium institutions in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States
International applicants must submit test scores for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing System) and must meet the minimum scores required:
580 on the TOEFL paper-based test
237 on the TOEFL computer-based test
85 on the TOEFL internet-based test
6.0 on the IELTS Academic test
Test scores for the TOEFL and IELTS Academic are valid for 2 years from the test dates. TOEFL and IELTS Academic scores that are no longer valid will not be accepted.

Fee
all candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of SGD 20.00 for online application.
Transcript
An official transcript of academic records is required from each university you have attended/are attending.
The transcript MUST BE SUBMITTED DIRECTLY to the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health from your
university Registrar. Please present the “TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM” to your university Registrar.
Transcripts must be enclosed in an official SEALED envelope with its flap bearing the security seal of the
university and the signature of the Registrar or representative. If the transcripts are not in English, they must be
accompanied by English translations that have been notarized.
Graduates from NUS can submit copies of their result slips or official transcripts of their academic records.
