TOEFL
The TOEFL score must be dated within two years of your program's application deadline. Photocopies of TOEFL score reports will not be accepted.
Take the TOEFL early enough to have the results submitted at the time of your application. Exam dates are posted on the TOEFL web site. Please note that we cannot confirm receipt of test scores until an applicant has submitted an online application.
If you receive your test results and any sub-score does not meet the requirement, you should make arrangements to retake the test.The Graduate School's official minimum sub-scores for each element of the TOEFL iBT are:Speaking: 22,Reading: 20,Listening: 15,Writing: 20
GRE
Admissions Committees generally look for a combined Verbal and Quantitative score of 308 (1200 if you took the test prior to August 2011). If your scores are slightly lower, don’t panic; you still may be considered for admission based on strengths in other areas of your application.

Each applicant must submit a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose is your opportunity to help reviewers better understand your academic objectives and determine if you are a good match for the field to which you are applying.
Length and Format:
The statement should be one or two pages. Include your full name and the proposed field of study at the top of each page. Please use a standard font and font size for ease of reading.
Topic:
The statement of purpose should include your reasons for undertaking graduate work and an explanation of your academic interests, including their relation to your undergraduate study and professional goals.
Some fields ask that you address particular questions in your statement of purpose. Please check with your field for field requirements.
Fee
An application fee of $75, payable by credit card online to the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, must be submitted at the end of your application.

Three letters of recommendation from professors or other professionals who are in a position to judge your preparation and fitness for graduate work in the proposed program(s) of study. Letters must be submitted electronically as instructed through our online application.
Transcript
Unofficial transcripts of all previously attended colleges and universities. An official transcript will be requested from accepted students prior to matriculation.
Foreign Transcripts must be transcribed and evaluated by WES (World Education Services) Academic Evaluation Services, Inc., or Globe Language Services if you need your transcript translated to English.
