</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我是來自蘇州大學(xué)的24fall申請(qǐng)生，目前收到了帝國理工、南洋理工、香港大學(xué)、愛丁堡大學(xué)等學(xué)校的offer，最后去了ntu和tuma合辦的ICD項(xiàng)目。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">很高興今天在這里和大家分享我的留學(xué)申請(qǐng)經(jīng)歷，希望能夠幫到大家。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>1、</strong><strong>從留學(xué)考研兩手準(zhǔn)備到專注留學(xué)</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我是在大二的一段暑期實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目中開始有了留學(xué)的想法，當(dāng)時(shí)我在一家中德合資企業(yè)實(shí)習(xí)，那邊的經(jīng)理是一位德國人，在和他的交流中我開始對(duì)國外生活和留學(xué)產(chǎn)生興趣。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">最開始我有考慮過保研，但當(dāng)時(shí)我的績(jī)點(diǎn)在保研的邊緣，而且并沒有競(jìng)賽和科研的成果，保研大概率只能留在本校。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><strong>沒有考慮直接就業(yè)的主要原因是因?yàn)殡娮有畔I(yè)本科學(xué)得雜且淺，本科課堂上學(xué)到的知識(shí)并不足以滿足工作的需要，我希望通過讀研究生來繼續(xù)深造以找到一份更滿意的工作。</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">之后我便考慮通過考研進(jìn)入我想去的學(xué)校，但在了解考研的難度并查看了目標(biāo)院校的分?jǐn)?shù)線后，我開始擔(dān)心要是沒有上岸該怎么辦。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">由于國外留學(xué)是申請(qǐng)制的形式，通過申請(qǐng)保底院?？梢员ＷC我有書讀。并且通過留學(xué)我可以有機(jī)會(huì)在世界頂級(jí)的名校中與來自各地的優(yōu)秀學(xué)生一起學(xué)習(xí)。最后我決定考研和留學(xué)兩手準(zhǔn)備。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">22年下半年和23年年初，我都在準(zhǔn)備申研的工作，包括雅思的學(xué)習(xí)和科研、競(jìng)賽項(xiàng)目的積累。大概在23年4月開始，我開始全身心投入到考研的學(xué)習(xí)中，一開始還算順利，但到了大四上半學(xué)期?？佳械膲毫χ饾u變大，我同時(shí)要進(jìn)行考研學(xué)科的學(xué)習(xí)和留學(xué)推薦信，個(gè)人陳述等材料的準(zhǔn)備，這使我逐漸有些力不從心。再加上反正有留學(xué)保底的僥幸心理作祟，這使我的進(jìn)度越來越落后于別人。當(dāng)時(shí)我確實(shí)也很焦慮。最后在11月份，我決定一心投入于留學(xué)的申請(qǐng)中。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; font-size: 14px;"><span style="color: #262626;"><em>考研期間每天吃的早飯</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>2、</strong><strong>瞄準(zhǔn)高排名院校</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">關(guān)于選擇英港新，一方面是出于經(jīng)濟(jì)方面的考慮，這些地區(qū)的留學(xué)費(fèi)用相對(duì)來說便宜一些，性價(jià)比更高；另一方面是因?yàn)槲翼?xiàng)目經(jīng)歷較少，而且大三準(zhǔn)備將大部分時(shí)間花在考研備考上，<strong>這些地區(qū)比較看重gpa，我在申請(qǐng)時(shí)更有優(yōu)勢(shì)</strong>。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">在選校定位有多方面的考量，老師首先根據(jù)我的實(shí)際情況推薦了一些項(xiàng)目給我，我再在這基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行進(jìn)一步的選擇。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><strong>我在擇校時(shí)首先看的是它的qs排名，希望自己能去排名盡量高一點(diǎn)的學(xué)校，比如IC和NUS。</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">之后是根據(jù)各個(gè)項(xiàng)目的課程安排選擇，看它的課程安排是否符合我的就業(yè)規(guī)劃，比如港大的eee項(xiàng)目，選課自由度高，可以在一個(gè)范圍內(nèi)選必修的課程，并且可以在整個(gè)工學(xué)院中選擇選修項(xiàng)目。還比如ntu和tuma合辦的兩年制ICD項(xiàng)目，這個(gè)項(xiàng)目包含一個(gè)實(shí)習(xí)，對(duì)我以后找工作很有幫助。最后選擇了幾個(gè)保底的項(xiàng)目。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>3、</strong><strong>love letter催來IC offer</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">在IC把我放在waitlist上后，我看到網(wǎng)上有同學(xué)說可以試試寫love letter，于是我向指南者的老師詢問了一下意見，她給我提供了一份模版。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我在3月初寫了第一封信，主要內(nèi)容是表達(dá)對(duì)IC的贊美，以及我為了進(jìn)這個(gè)項(xiàng)目最近做了哪些努力可以考慮我。但I(xiàn)C并沒有回復(fù)我，可能是收到的郵件太多了。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">在HKU的offer來了之后，五月初我又寫了一封love letter給他們，繼續(xù)表達(dá)我去IC的意愿，并詢問他們什么時(shí)候可以出結(jié)果，他們的回答比較官方，就告訴了我出結(jié)果的ddl。<strong>最后在5月中我收到了IC的con offer</strong>。我覺得love letter在某種程度上還是有作用的，至少它可以在心理上起到安慰。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; font-size: 14px;"><span style="color: #262626;"><em>文書老師寫的love letter 感謝老師們的幫助</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>4、</strong><strong>雅思沒達(dá)標(biāo)，錯(cuò)失IC</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">雅思是在大三上開始準(zhǔn)備的，當(dāng)時(shí)指南者的項(xiàng)目里有贈(zèng)送一個(gè)雅思的線上課程，我在課程里學(xué)習(xí)到了各個(gè)部分該如何刷題、答題技巧等等。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">一開始的重心放在閱讀和聽力上，每天背單詞+刷題?？记耙粋€(gè)月開始準(zhǔn)備口語和寫作，口語是根據(jù)網(wǎng)上找到的當(dāng)季題庫以及修改范例回答進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)備的。作文當(dāng)時(shí)是每天寫一篇，然后對(duì)照著范例文章進(jìn)行修改，學(xué)習(xí)范文優(yōu)秀的句子。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">第一次考試成績(jī)是6.5，其中口語和寫作的分比較低，分別是6和5.5。之后我又報(bào)了網(wǎng)上的口語和寫作專項(xiàng)訓(xùn)練課程，但是提升效果效果并不是很好，還是沒有達(dá)到IC的最低要求。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">之后我就投入考研的學(xué)習(xí)中了，準(zhǔn)備等IC的offer來了再刷分。<strong>這也為我之后沒有去成IC埋下伏筆。</strong></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">對(duì)我來說，最佳的刷分時(shí)間應(yīng)該是大四上的寒假，但那時(shí)候偷懶了。覺得開學(xué)之后開始刷也來得及。結(jié)果大四下開學(xué)沒多久就開始忙于做畢設(shè)了，沒有留太多時(shí)間給雅思。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">IC在3月份給我發(fā)了waitlist，之后又收到了別的學(xué)校的offer，所以我學(xué)雅思的積極性也不是很高。最后等到5月中IC發(fā)了con offer時(shí)，這時(shí)我才發(fā)現(xiàn)自己已經(jīng)沒有太多時(shí)間準(zhǔn)備雅思了。要是想上IC的語言班，還需要考ukvi雅思，并且達(dá)到6.5（6），不確定性很大。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h1><span style="color: #ffffff;"><strong>5、</strong><strong>放棄IC和港大，我更心儀NTU</strong></span></h1> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">一開始我還是很自信的，覺得自己申請(qǐng)了這么多項(xiàng)目，總歸會(huì)有幾個(gè)中的。但在12月份到2月份我陸續(xù)收到了NUS和UCL的拒信，就連原本考慮作保底的曼大也把我放在waitlist上。雖然當(dāng)時(shí)并沒有很焦慮，因?yàn)檫€有很多項(xiàng)目的結(jié)果沒有出。但看到身邊同學(xué)都陸續(xù)都拿到了offer，內(nèi)心還是有一點(diǎn)失落的。直到3月中，我拿到愛大的offer后，才放下心來。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">感覺在申研時(shí)感受到的焦慮完全比不上考研時(shí)感受到的焦慮。特別是從去年的9月份開始，當(dāng)時(shí)在考研進(jìn)度落后的情況下，天天都感覺焦慮。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;"><img style="display: block; font-size: 14px;"><span style="color: #262626;"><em>收到offer時(shí)特別開心</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <h2><span style="color: #1890ff;"><strong>關(guān)于在offer上的具體考量</strong></span></h2> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">我最開始決定去港大的eee項(xiàng)目，是因?yàn)槲覍?duì)人工智能方向比較感興趣，而港大的課程設(shè)置中，包含有相關(guān)的課程。并且我還可以在工學(xué)院跨選計(jì)算機(jī)專業(yè)相關(guān)的課程。并且香港的位置離深圳很近，假期去深圳找實(shí)習(xí)很方便。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">但在我詢問了老師和相關(guān)專業(yè)的同學(xué)后，我才了解到<strong>ai方向現(xiàn)在卷得很厲害</strong>。電子專業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)過去的學(xué)生，做產(chǎn)品的人比較多。這與我的預(yù)期并不相符。而要想從事ai算法方面的工作，都需要有幾篇頂會(huì)的論文。因此我大概率需要繼續(xù)讀博。但讀博對(duì)我而言申請(qǐng)難度較大，并且不確定因素很多，遂放棄了這個(gè)想法。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">帝國理工我錄取的是通信和信號(hào)處理專業(yè)（CSP）。IC的title很高，而且也是我的夢(mèng)校，而且英國的留學(xué)體驗(yàn)也很好。但我最后還是沒有選擇去，原因首先是雅思沒有達(dá)到要求。并且IC的課程是通信方向的居多，我并不是很感興趣。還有一個(gè)原因是在英國找實(shí)習(xí)比較困難，需要回國找。而我正好缺少對(duì)口的實(shí)習(xí)。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">IC的title在找工作時(shí)過簡(jiǎn)歷關(guān)沒問題，但在被問到個(gè)人項(xiàng)目經(jīng)歷時(shí)，我可能會(huì)因?yàn)闆]有對(duì)口的實(shí)習(xí)經(jīng)歷而被刷掉。<strong>而tuma icd項(xiàng)目，是兩年制帶實(shí)習(xí)的，教授會(huì)把學(xué)生推薦給當(dāng)?shù)氐钠髽I(yè)，這就方便了我在新加坡找實(shí)習(xí)</strong>。所以我最后還是決定去了這個(gè)項(xiàng)目。</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="color: #262626;">回望這一年的申請(qǐng)歷程，旅途不能算是一路平坦，但最后的結(jié)果我還是很滿意的。希望申請(qǐng)的同學(xué)們都能拿到自己想要的offer！</span></p> <div class="qrcode-content-wrapper" contenteditable="false"> <div style="position: absolute;
